Sendmail adds "relay" to the recipient address.
I have recently changed our database server.
The previous server its configured to relay to another smtp server, and it works fine.
But with the new server we have a problem.. All mails appears to be delivered at the mail.log, but running sendmail in verbose mode, shows that the program is adding the word "relay" to the recipient address:
# /usr/sbin/sendmail -v rossneyg@officenet.com.ar
Prueba
.
rossneyg@officenet.com.ar... Connecting to relay via relay...
220 onarspam10.officenet.com.ar Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Security Suite, Version: 5.5 ready at Mon, 09 Apr 2007 10:05:59 -030
>>> EHLO zeusdata.officenet.com.ar
250-onarspam10.officenet.com.ar supports the following ESMTP extensions:
250-SIZE 10362880
250-DSN
250-8bitmime
250 OK
>>> MAIL From: SIZE=7
250: Sender Ok
>>> RCPT To:
250: Recipient Ok
>>> DATA
354 onarspam10.officenet.com.ar: Send data now. Terminate with "."
>>> .
250 onarspam10.officenet.com.ar: Message accepted for delivery
rossneyg@officenet.com.ar... Sent (onarspam10.officenet.com.ar: Message accepted for delivery)
Closing connection to relay
Could anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Sendmail adds "relay" to the recipient address.
Solved!
Added hostname. (hostname dot) to hosts, and removed
host.domain.com.ar from sendmail.cw solved our problem!
