cec_get_ex_acpidev_from_hwpath: unsupported _HID type
Dear all,
I got these messages on HPUX (11.23 IA) this morning, but I can't find the cause..

From the ioscan I do see it has something to do with storage (HSV100); the devices theirselves are CLAIMED though..:
...:/root # ioscan -fn |grep "30.6.0.0.2"
target 17 4/0/6/1/0/4/0.30.6.0.0.2 tgt CLAIMED DEVICE
hsx 88 4/0/6/1/0/4/0.30.6.0.0.2.5 hsx CLAIMED DEVICE HP HSV100
hsx 92 4/0/6/1/0/4/0.30.6.0.0.2.6 hsx CLAIMED DEVICE HP HSV100
hsx 97 4/0/6/1/0/4/0.30.6.0.0.2.7 hsx CLAIMED DEVICE HP HSV100
dmesg shows the same..
Please advise!
Kind regards, Niels.

Re: cec_get_ex_acpidev_from_hwpath: unsupported _HID type
Hi,
Sorry, I don't see an issue in listing from ioscan. CLAIMED DEVICE - means OK, but you possibly omitted the rest of line "/dev/dsk/cXXtYdZ /dev/rdsk/cXXtYdZ", right? If you see the paths to your drives your disk array works. If not, check its' health. Possibly you have two hardware paths to your disks and one of them is down. If your host is connected to your disks via SAN switch it'll be a good idea to check switch zoning and health.
Regards,
