gdm xioerror : login

Hi all,
when i try to login by my user(no root) with gdm the login screen after i type my password it appears newly and in the /var/log/messages there is a message:

mag 26 11:58:19 trota gdm[20620]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal Error X
- Restart of :0

I have already type (as root) the commands:
#chown -r user:my_group ~user_home

What do you have in /var/log/gdm/xxx.log ?
