mediaplayer is not working

newly installed Fedora 7 is not suppoting for media files what can i do?

can any one help me

Fedora is a strict follower of Free Software. So many media codecs are not provided out of the box.

You will need to add third-party repositories or codecs to be able to play all kind of media (mp3, dvd etc.).

You will need to get your hands into the command line interface (with root access). The follow the instructions from:
