Re: "Machine is not in committed state "
is it possible to post the AMTTool again?
We have the same problem with an 8440p model after changing the motherboard.
Thank you very much in advance,
Mathew

Re: "Machine is not in committed state "
I, too, would like a link to a working tool. I've got one "machine not in a commited state."
I did manage to find a copy of CpqAmt Utility Version 1.0, but when I boot the program into DOS I get the command prompt message: "You must reboot the system with 'cpqamt reboot' after locking VPro configuration with one of : CPQAMT write [on, off, lock, reset]
I'm comfortable writing, say, an autoexec.bat file to manage the program, but I don't know what "locking VPro configuration" means, or how to do it. There are a bunch of .bat routines in the program, but I can't get any of them to help me unlock/edit/write a Vpro configuration.
Here is the state of this machine:
VPro uncommited
Descriptor locked
Management Engine enabled
Flash Protection Override disabled

Re: "Machine is not in committed state "
Where is the Vpro "not in committed state" utility/tool? wndmifit tool does not resolve this? cpqamt is not for Vpro units?
