I have an l2000 server running HPUX 11.0 and I would like to access the box via lan console. Does anyone know if the l2000 came lan-console ready? I am unable to find port 0/0/0 although lanscan displays such a port.

Solution
When you say LAN console I assume you mean, MP / ILO ?
If so you will never see that hw via the OS.
To configure, attach serial cable to MP/ILO and putty or hyperterminal setup for serial connection.
Once access is gained use the cm > lc command to configure the IP on the lan port.
Once the MP/ILO is up on the network you can either use, http or telnet to access.
