HPUX 11.0 can be installed as 32-bit or 64-bit.

Check the compatibility chart for your model server. Some support both.

Run the getconf command.

# getconf HW_CPU_SUPP_BITS

Hi the model the my server is rp2405, when tray install (advanced option) only present instalation with 64 bits.

The harward the rp204 support 32 bits. ?

Hi David,

HPUX 11.00 supports both 32/64 bit but depends on your hardware if that supports.
Now rp24xx supports only 64bit OS.

On checking your system model against the support matrix chart (in my previous post as a link) your model (rp2405) is 64 bit only. What this actually means is that it can run programs that are 32 and 64 bit, but the OS is actually 64 bit. You can install 11.00 or 11i on these. If there is a valid reason not to install 11i, then I would only choose this version.
