Booting problem in HP-UX 9000/800/L3000-7x Server

Hi,

One of our HP-UX Server is not booting. Please find below the LED Combinations and system details and let me know what could be the possible causes or Can we boot the server without replacing the disk ?

1: LED Combination :

RUN----GREEN BLINKING
ATTENTION ---ORANGE
FAULT---RED
POWER--GREEN

2: System Information:


Model: 9000/800/L3000-7x
Main Memory: 12288 MB
Processors: 3
OS mode: 64 bit
OS Version: HP-UX version B.11.11.

Not enough information. The red FAULT is obviously an indicator that there's a problem. Can you access the GSP and then look at the VFP?

I agree, the red fault light is caused by a higher level failure event - review the GSP log or contact your HP support to get this solved.

Hardware problem, sure.


In what step are you stopped?check GSP log
