D390 and SAN (EVA4000)

Hi folks,

We are planning to connect two D390 9000 servers - both running HP-UX 10.20 into a 2GB SAN with redundant Brocade switches connected to an EVA 4000.

The question is, which HBAs should we use in this setup?

The A6684A will fit into your D390 and is able to do a fabric login, but it can only do 1GB.

There are no 2GB cards for your server.

Your system will be an issue probably.

end of support for 10.20 was 2003:

It might work, but there are no updates or fixes anymore.

Howdy,
If 10.20 is the problem you can upgrade to 11iV1 32 bit with this machine no problem.
