Finding End of Life information on components of server
My boss has asked me to find the end of life for all of the components that our production rp7410 has. I found the support will be dropped on 1/31/2010 for the rp7410, but I thought I read somewhere that item’s like our tape drives (C7498AR) will go sooner. My memory remembers the tape array module (C7508AR) goes sometime in 2008 and the drive in 2009, but I can’t find where I read this again. Also I think I remember either the network cards or SCSI cards also going in 2008.
Any suggestions on how to finish this assignment would be welcomed.

Re: Finding End of Life information on components of server
HP will give support for 5 more years after the date of last sale and then the product will be considered at the end of its service life. The HP product bulletin can be used to check the date of last sale or date of retirement, and then just add 5 years to it.
