HP UX 11.11 Way ahead
Currently we are using HP9000 servers with HPUX 11.11 version. Both hardware and software is out of support. We are looking for a way to get migrate the applications to another platform with minimal changes.
What are the options available to achieve this?

Thank you for the reply.
Is there a document that explains the process and minimum requirements for this migration?

Re: HP UX 11.11 Way ahead
You might want to check all of your applications if they can be use on HP-UX 11.23 or 11.31, sometimes people are stuck on 11.11 because of 3rd party applications are written for a specific OS version. That should not be such a problem. I have many users still on 11.11. There are many newer HP 9000 boxes that you can run 11.11 on. You might want to consider that path rather than exploring upgrading to 11.23 or 11.31.. If its not broke, dont fix it.
You can actually run 11.11 on the newest HP 9000 that HP made / the RP8440 Enterprise Server...
What server (hardware) are you currently using?

Re: HP UX 11.11 Way ahead
Good point, but anyway.
Using a server with support means you get support and patches.
However, if stuck with 11.11 you might consider to run it inside a container on a newer server.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
