If you connect console login to MP and type CO for console access. (the default user name password for MP is Admin - case sensitive). Do "sea" command from BDC to find hardware paths. then boot from the CD using "bo H/W path" With interact option.
There you find some offline diagnostics.
If there is no HD or OS, what you like to diagnose? In general offline diag is meant for service professional only.

Say.. HP-UX vets, can I esentially have a "diskless" HP-UX node ? I can on Solaris/SunOS.
