update PDC PHDC firmware failed,ERASED flash is successful , but update was failed .
is their any other ways to ues

Hi Grey,
1.) do not under any circumstance powercycle or reset the cells in this state, otherwise they may be brain dead.
2.) try again. If it fails again, use another ftp server. HPUX ftp server should always work.
3.) open a HP support call if it still does not work. This needs to be troubleshooted by trained people.

It is very possible that you will need HP onsite to facilitate this upgrade. The rp8400 needed to have a small circuit board called a SCREE board added to the backplane before the update will work.
