Hello!
I have completed the setup of a V2600 (donated) and it works fine with a 712 Teststation (that was connected to our V2200). I am not able to connect it to the B180L which has the teststation software. I am not sure whether it has all the required hardware (if any). I am not able to get the AUI to be listed in a ioscan or sam, but see 100BT card fine. Any advice?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Emil

Solution
Hi Emil,
on the back of the B180 you have two lan ports (RJ45 and AUI) you can only use one of them at a time
=> you need an additional network card in a PCI slot for the production lan (to your intranet). The V-Class diagnostic lan have to be connected to the AUI and the RJ45 on the Core I/O has to be unused.
best regards
Stefan

Re: V-Class Teststation Help
Hi Stefan!
Thanks for confirming my thoughts. Yes, I did connect the transceiver to the AUI port. For whatever reason I don't see the AUI on ioscan or sam. I am not planning to connect the teststation to the production network.
Regards,
Emil
