rp7400 console configuration

All,

I have three rp 7400's that I need to verify the console network link negotiation how can I check it? Can these use auto-negotiation or do they have to be hardcoded to a certain duplex.

The GSP on A/L/N class systems and now have 10/100-BaseT or 10/100/1000-BaseT for the LAN console port. GSP auto-negotiates this port with whatever the connection speed is on the other end.
Control B for GSP prompt and configure lan from there. GSP LS (LAN status) command reflects
what the connection speed is.

I used lc to set up the consoles and ls to verify and it does not provide that info, below is output from the gsp in question:

LAN configuration:
. MAC Address : 0x001083fe9f16
. IP address : 10.224.112.131
. GSP Host Name : kysdfpd6
. Subnet mask : 255.255.252.0
. Gateway address : 10.224.112.1

LAN status: UP and RUNNING

Yes you are right.. MP Web console show lan actual speed with LS command.
Anyway, 10 base half duplex should work for any web console.
Try with that speed settings

After setting those params and you can't connect you may want to run the "EL" command on the GSP and also check the network switch. Sometimes the switch is set to 100 when your at 10, etc. etc....

How can you view the configuration of the remote console on the gsp, lc and ls do not show the duplex settings.

10baseT is the default set.
