Correct Settings for EVA connected to VIO
ISSUE:We have EVA5000- F/w: 3010(I know its old). We have a physical AIX box connected to it.
The AIX has multiple VIO's running on it, when ever a LUN is presented to only one VIO, it works fine, when the same LUN is presented to the other VIO, the server is unable to detect the LUN, upon inspection, it was found that the LUN had SCSI reservation errors.
QUESTION: How do I get rid of the issue? what is the correct settings on the EVA and on VIO?
P.S. This thread has been moevd from Disk to Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Enterprise). - Hp forum moderator
