Differences between Brocade SAN FOS 6.1.2 and 6.2.0b

Hi,

does anyone has an information, what are the differences of these two FOS and why the version 6.1.2 has a newer release date than 6.2.0b. The major difference that I saw is 6.1.2 is about 150 MB less in size.

Hi,

Do you read the release notes? It seems that the 6.2.0b have more features like virtual fabrics etc that is not implement on 6.1.2. Look at the releases notes.

I also wondered why there was this apparent anomally in the version sequence. It appears that the 6.1.x stream supports the CEE and FC capability for the brocade 8000 box. The 6.2.x stream supports all the 4G and 8G boxes.
