How do I move a boot volume on an EVA to a local drive?
Our company sold one of the businesses that had a server that was boot from SAN. Now we need to install drives in the server and copy/restore the system volume to the internal drive array.
We have an HP ProLiant DL380 running Windows Server 2003.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: How do I move a boot volume on an EVA to a local drive?
Hey, I haven't done this before.
But what if you boot that server on for example linux (live CD that has fibre channel or on other disks) and then make a copy of the drive from the EVA to a physical drive? Like with the 'dd' command in Linux.
There probably are better solutions to this, just figured I'd give an idea, not sure if it would work.
