MPX 110 Performance Tuning
Greetings,
Trying to tweek the performance of our MPX110's by possibly changing the FCIP Route parameters to best suite our available bandwidth. We currently have a 12Mb point-to-point dedicate circuit for data replication. Officially the line is an ATM PVC from an OC-3. Looking at the MPX User Guide there is a chart for setting TCP Window Size and Window Scaling Factor based on the type of data circuit you have available.
Currently I have the Windows Size set to 32768 and the Window Scaling Factor set to 4, but this is for a true OC-3 circuit (which we do not have). Should I leave the settings as is or change to something more suitable?
Please advise,
DB
