MSA30, 6402 Raid controller, EMS, and msamon

I am trying to get the EMS monitor msamon to operate and recognize an MSA30 on an 6402 controller with no success.

EMS responds that there are no valid resources in its default configuration for msamon.

OS level is 11.23...and upgrading is not an option.

Does this monitor not function in this configuration?

AFAIR this monitor is used for MSA1000 (MSA1500) only. If a MSA30 is connected to the MSA1000, it will be monitored too.
