RSM 5.0 2008 luns presented as off line.
Hello
I am using RSM 5.0 with Command 9.1 and the EVA firmware is 9522000. When I snap shot a lun and present the snapshit to a 2008 servers (64 bit). The lun is presented as offline. I am using basic disks. I noticed in the RSM release notes if you have a dynamic disk issue the command san policy=online all in diskpart and reboot the server.
First question once the system is back online will the following luns be presented as online?
Also is this required for basic disks?
I am using the snapshots for backup so they will be removed and presented once a week.

Re: RSM 5.0 2008 luns presented as off line.
Two questions:
The LUNs from where you're creating the snapshots are presented to this same server? Because you cannot have two disks with same signature on Windows.
What happens if you create a snapshot and present it manually using Command View?

No the luns are from different systems. When I manually present the snapshot it is off line.
