adding additional vdisk to msa 2012i single controller
Hi, now we have one vdisk raid5 from 6 SCSI 300 gb 15k drives on msa 2012i, we have only one controller. We buy 6 additional 450 gb 15k SCSI drives. Can I create second new Vdisk without downtime of current Vdisk when I have only one controller? I plan to use offline advanced approach of creating new Vdisk which seems to be much more faster then online creation.

Re: adding additional vdisk to msa 2012i single controller
Yes this is a supported way to expand your Disk Storage.
You can use the SMU to perform the same.
You can look at Page 58
