HPE Nimble Storage is OpenShift Primed
Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is an industry leading PaaS built on top of Kubernetes. It's primarily geared towards Enterprises who's looking to deploy containers into production in a supported and secure manner.
It goes without saying that most of our Enterprise customers care dearly about their data. It is very unlikely that requirements of their storage environment changes because their applications have transitionened from a monolithic stack into a container.
HPE is joining forces with Red Hat on many fronts. HPE Nimble Storage is the premiere HPE Storage platform to deliver a fully supported solution for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and OpenShift Origin. Customer and prospects now have the full gamut of Enterprise-grade storage capabilities with premium features and multi-cloud integration. Through the Red Hat OpenShift Primed program, HPE Nimble Storage ensures readiness and commitment to OpenShift.
Last year at Microsoft Ignite, HPE showcased the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform integration using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services how to effectively build, ship and run applications in a world of Hybrid IT. This talk is still available to watch online.
We also provide a HPE Nimble Storage Integration Guide for Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Origin for customers and prospects on HPE InfoSight. To ensure interopability with the full spectrum of customers and prospects we've takens steps to ensure we're backwards compatible with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.5 and onwards including 3.9 that was released last week. We will also provide best effort support for OpenShift Origin, the upstream Open Source project for customers looking to OpenShift Origin for their dev, test and QA environments.
In just a short month you have the opportunity to meet the team at RedHat Summit where HPE is a platinum sponsor. All product lines across HPE will be represented and boy do we have things show and tell. I shall see you in San Francisco!
