Confused about MPIO and VIPLB
Hi,
I'm confused about using VIPLB and/or MPIO:
VIPLB redirects the iSCSI command to the least busy system. MPIO connects the host to each storage system.
Does it make sense to have both activated/installed? Do they influence each other, i.e. degrade performance?
If both are activated/installed, which is the "leading" technology?
Thanks in advance

Re: Confused about MPIO and VIPLB
Having both on won't interfere with anything. MPIO is superior, and in effect, overrides VIPLB since it connects to all the units.
