Expected Alarm is not receiving on HP IMC Server

Hi Team,

I am facing issue with HP IMC is that expected alarm of LAN Switches is not receiving on HP IMC 7.0. 

When I am tring to delete existing alarm then Failure..  server busy, please try again later message is shown. Also in system/processes tab Alarm Management process status showing as unknown error occurred in starting the process. Screenshots are attached.

Anyone can help to resolve this problem?

Hi,

please try to stop and restart IMC ( from the Monitor iDMA Tab) and check if the Problem to delete Alarms is solved

from your screenshots, it is clear the the imcfaultdm is not started (so no Alarm Management)

if the restart of IMC does not fix the issue, please have a look at the imcfaultdm logfile, which is located here: $IMC/server/conf/log/imcfaultdm.log and check for eror messages (for example if port 162 is occupied)

Not able to understand issue: error showing in logs as: (Screenshots attached)

Execute "show fields from tbl_trap_data_event" failed, errorMsg:Table *./monitor_db/bl_trap data event" is marked as crashed and should be repaired.

this means, that at least one table in the monitor_db is damaged

What Database are you using: Mysql?
