IMC Enterprise Downgradation to IMC Standard

Hi,

We have a customer where we have have installed iMC Enterprise edition for demo. Then customer being impressed with the iMC software purchased the iMC standard edition + iMC UAM and iMC WSM

We installed the activation keys of standard iMC edition on Demo iMC Enterprise Trial version. We were successfull in upgrading the license. No issues

But now we are facing problem with WSM module, after we have upgraded the HP MSM 760 Premius Mobility Controller to 6.4.1. Access point were not getting syncrhonized to iMC WSM. also we were facing problem with SNMP. we are getting trap error after upgradation

HP TAC suggested to upgrade the iMC to 7.1, along with its module as new controller version is not compatible with iMC 7.0, so ask us to upgrade the iMC.

Now when we are trying to updrage the imc to iMC 7.1 we are facing issues. It is asking for License. But we have license for iMC Standard 7.0.

Do a  backup.

uninstall imc ent

instsall imc std

restore - except the ent specific stuff like nta

that's pretty much it.

Are you upgradering from 7.0 std to 7.1 std ?

That should not be a problem.

If it is, then support can generate a new license pretty fast.
