IP Phone on VPN loses connection = IP sendto() call failed, returnStatus = 0xffffffff
V5000 running 6_0_63 code
I am getting excessive (?) logging when an IP phone loses connection to the network. I am getting Megabytes of logging...I am guessing the excessive logs caused a system lockup at one point.
The VPN comes back up (in 2 - 10mintues) and all network devices on the VPN restore connection with the exception of the 3102 phones. they need to be rebooted to reestablish connection to the NCP
another observation: when an IP phone on a VPN is disconnected from the network the logging starts and doesn't stop until (they are reconnected?).
I get this over and over and over, 100 mb worth.

How many devices are doing this ? Seems odd that this is occurring at that amount of errors .

sounds like there is a connection timing issue on the VPN .
