I am using Ignite 6.1.44 on an hpux 11.0 machine. This version of ignite creates map files in /etc/lvmconf, but it doesnt include the VGID of vg00 in the mapfile. What version of Ignite will add the VGID of vg00 to vg00.mapfile under /etc/lvmconf, and where can I get the download of that ignite version?

Re: Ignite 6.1.44 doesnt "vgexport -p -s -m" on 11.0 server
Hi Frederick:
The last version of Ignite to support 11.0 was C.7.2.
HP only offers (to my knowledge) the most current Ignite on its Ignite website.
This said, why care if a mapfile for vg00 has the VGID logged or not. After all, vg00 will be recreated if you use Ignite to clone or rebuild a server.
Regards!
