Ignite Install - Golden Image query

I created a golden image from a serverA, then "boot lan" imaged a existing server "aklhxo1" and changed this server to "hlz1hxaf", but after imaging, it says: "WLG1HXOD" "OK"

but after reboot, it turned back to "hlz1hxaf". Everything seems normal (like typing hostname, and swlist)

Where was this "WLG1HXOD" coming from? is this info saved somewhere on the newly imaged server?

From the temporary network information that was provided prior to entering the Ignite interface. Until that final reboot, the temporary information is used.

Re: Ignite Install - Golden Image query

Hi,

This must be the information which is from the image. Even after a reboot if this problem is not fixed. Please do a "set_parms initial" once the system reboots and setup the parameters.

Thanks
