Re: rp2470 ignite restore problem
Hi Torsten,
I saw those threads you told me and problem was exact like mine. As I could see this was the solution:
"The problem is solved after the following actions
1) install latest hpux11.00 patch bundle (March 2004)
2) Install Ignite C.6.1.44, I had to download the full bundle ,not only the HPUX 11.00 version"
I could not find links to download both patch and Ignite C.6.1.44. can you help me with this?
Is this Ignite C.6.1.44 supported for hp ux 11.00?

As Torsten said, 11.00 is out of support and all this stuff was removed years ago.

Re: rp2470 ignite restore problem
Hi Dennis,
Does this mean that I am stacked here with no further possibilities?

Yes you are hosed.
Unless someone else has a copy of that old Ignite. (I've seen topics with similar requests.)
Or HP is willing to take your money to get these to you.

Re: rp2470 ignite restore problem
Maybe you have some other old application CD sets with a newer version of ignite?
If not, there are a couple of options to "clone" your productive server. Search the board for Clay's "lifeboat" setup (in fact a "dd" of the productive boot disk) or take out a mirrored drive while the server is down. You will have a perfect "clone" then, so don't forget to adjust at least the hostname and the IP address.
For example see http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/System-Administration/Copying-the-boot-disk/m-p/2611549#M36256
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
