Patches needed for ISEE
Hi,
I am very confused on what patches are needed for ISEE. We are running HP-UX 11.0. We have not performed any patch work for a long time. According to a document referencing A.02.50 and A.03.00 clients, all we need are PHNE_22397 and PHKL_21420. According to the patch descriptions, we need PHKL_21857 and PHNE_18972 for PHNE_22397 and PHKL_18453 for PHKL_21420. When we go to download those patches, it says there are other patches included as well. What do we really need to do? Can we do it all in one step? Is there any way to install the patches and reboot on the weekend? Thank you all and everyone for your help.
Keep on computing,
Mike C.

Re: Patches needed for ISEE
You can do a patch analysis for your system from HP's custom patch manager session:
http://us-support.external.hp.com/wps/bin/doc.pl/sid=fd0d06ea1d06c414d3
This will select the patches needed for your system and will put in a bundle. You don't need multiple reboots, but I won't suggest doing patch update now and reboots on weekend. I would both at the same time just to avoid any risky kernel behaviour.

Re: Patches needed for ISEE
Mike,
Be extremely careful with this patch:
PHKL_18543

If it exists, do not reapply it.
