HP Itanium RX2800 AT101A i4 vs AT101B i6
Other than running the i6 CPUs, what other features do the newer HP Itanium AT101B i6 rx2800 servers give you thats not a feature on the HP Itanium AT101A i4 rx2800 boxes?
I have the spec sheets on both and I cant see how they differ other than the i6 CPUs
Thanks
Jesse

Re: HP Itanium RX2800 AT101A i4 vs AT101B i6
Hello Jesse,
Yes. There are no much differences between these 2 systems.
Rx2800 i6 - What's New (You would find this in Quickspec)
• Supports Intel® Itanium® 9700 series processors
• Supports the higher frequency and low voltage PC3L-12800 registered CAS 11 memory DIMMs
• Supports the HPE XP7 Storage and HPE 3PAR All Flash Arrays for increased performance and lower TCO.
• Supports HP-UX 2019 Operating Environment Update Release which has enhancements in virtualization, high availability, security, and private cloud management.
Regards,

Re: HP Itanium RX2800 AT101A i4 vs AT101B i6
Thanks Sharis, I saw that too.. the i4 also supports the PC3L-12800 registered CAS 11 memory DIMMs (AT110A and AT109B) and the i4 supports the May 2020 DC-OE release.. So I'm only seeing the CPUs 97xx and the XP7 & 3Par update.. but even that array update might be covered with the May 2020 DC-OE release since its not really a hardware thing.
