hpux first install panic on BL860c
Following the steps in the user guide installation we tried to install a new BL860c with hpux V2 with no result.
By using DVD driver with USB connection or by using virtual media with ISO file.
The installation begin normally and after few time the server crash with a panic error :
A system crash has occurred. (See the above messages for details.)
*** The system is now preparing to dump physical memory to disk, for use
*** in debugging the crash.
ERROR: Your system crashed before I/O and dump configuration was complete.
This system does not support a crash dump under these circumstances.
Contact your HP support representative for assistance.
Any one can help.
Thanks and best regards
Omar

Re: hpux first install panic on BL860c
I believe you need at least HP-UX 11i Version 2 June 2007 or higher to have support on the BL860c. Could you check the version of your install media?
Regards,
Robert-Jan

Re: hpux first install panic on BL860c
Finally, the installation was done.
The problem was with the USB DVD connected to the BL860c (not an HP DVD ROM).
We have mapped an HP lab top DVD as virtual media and it work finely.
Also, when mapping a directory with an ISO file in, doesn├в t work.
Hope this will help others next.
Many thanks for your participation!
Best regards.
