rx3600 SAS CONTROLLER
Hi,
I have here an rx3600 with integrated SAS controller. I installed HPUX 11.23 succesfully, but i receive the error that I haven't the good SerialSCSI driver. I installed it and also tried to update the firmware of the controller. Here something got wrong.
So I reinstalled HP-UX, it worked fine but i cannot boot the OS any more.
Here is the output off map -r (I just see my DVD)

Re: rx3600 SAS CONTROLLER
I've no idea that this would be involved, but...
Did you install from HWE (HardWare Enablement) media, or just some pseudo-random 11.23 media you had?
Firmware on the controller - do you mean then that you have the SAS SmartArray controller in the system? If so, IIRC that is not supported by 11.23 - only the "dumb" SAS controller is supported by HP-UX at this time. The SAS SmartArray is supported by Linux (and perhaps Windows)
When you boot, does some banner about P600 Option ROM appear? If so, then your system has a SAS SmartArray controller.

Re: rx3600 SAS CONTROLLER
It was a firmware issue.
