HP-UX 11i v3 with FC connect to MSA1000

Booted from Media and the search device found the FC controller, after the configuration is set, installation started and found the below error

what datecode media are you using? The September 2007 version?
If not, get hold of those and try them.

have you checked whether your i/o cards and the storag eare supported with 11iv3?
for example, the msa1000 single controller is not supported

Sorry to ask this, how do i determine whether its a single controller or AA controller, the controller information is MSA1000 Controller

in addtion, could you please let me know if LVM is supported format or not?

LVM is supported.
As for the MSA, I have no idea, consult your documentation or check with your local support office

the MSA needs to have dual controllers and active/active firmware. All LUNS must be presented with profile "hp" (for hp-ux) to hp-ux servers.

Check this either with the CLI (serial connection to the array)
CLI> show tech_support
or with ACU from a connected windows or linux system.

Yes the ACU was used and the HDD space is presented to the system with "HP" as the OS type and one logical drive is assigned

Locate the following line in the matrix:

"MSA1500cs AA/Asymmetrical"

Without the Active/active/Asymmetrical setting it will NOT work - this depends on firmware too.
