PROBLEM: Cannot get VxFS filesystem options (25) Not a typewriter. VxFS extent attributes not backed up. This error message occurs during a backup.

CONFIGURATION
Operating System - HP-UX
Version - A.05.10
Product - data protector

RESOLUTION: The problem is that an incorrect ioctl(2) call is being made to the filesystem driver. This issue has been corrected in Data Protector 5.1 disk agent patch PHSS_29877. The patch can be downloaded from http://support.openview.hp.com
