What to monitor for disk / controller health
We recently had one of our disk array controllers go out (NVRAM Mismatch x), and that's when I found out about the arraydsp command (Thanks, HP support!).
I was wondering if there is anything we could do to monitor that or similar commands to tell if a controller or disc is going bad.
Thanks,
Rob

Re: What to monitor for disk / controller health
I should have mentioned that we have an AutoRaid on a 9000/889/K460 running HPUX 10.20.

Re: What to monitor for disk / controller health
If you have some monitoring tool, you can add this check to it, or just write a script and run it every hour or tow to check the status of your array with "arraydsp" command.
