Whwere is VxVM 5.0/5.1 for 11.31?

Is it on the March 2008 Application DVD/CD set? Or seprately downloaded from Symantec or HP?

I trust 5.0 is the latest one(and preferred for 11.31).? And base should work with 11.31's native multi-pathing hence no need to get the full version?

And if we do decide to get the full featuers - no additional fileset is needed? And just apply Symantec's or HP's licenses (just like 4.1 and 3.5?)

Search the HP patch site for any patches for it. Base should work fine with its known limited functionality. If LVM works fine with the new devices so should base VxVM. I would buy the full version from HP for single vendor support. In the previous versions, additional filesets needed to be installed for the full version.

Yes.

Base-vxvm can work with 11.31 native multipathing, but only if the vxvm devices are configured as foreign devices, which puts limitations on vxvm.

So using vxvm dmp is normally the way to go.

Storage Foundation 5.0 which includes VxVM 5.0 for 11.31 was released in June and You can contact Symantec for this.

There is no VxVM 5.1 on 11.31.

HP has not yet released a OS image which contains VxVM 5.0 (It isn't present in March 08 media, I think its expected for sep 08). But I think you can get it separately.
