vxvmconvert giving error on HPUX 11iV3

Hi Guru's

I need to convert one LVM VG to VxVM, for this iam using the vxvmconvert utility, but this utility throw following error

# vxvmconvert

VxVM vxvmconvert INFO V-5-2-707
The Volume Configuration Daemon (vxconfigd) is either not running or not enabled.
Please correct the problem before re-running vxvmconvert.

My OS Version is HPUX 11iV3

If your root volume was ignited using LVM and you have never setup VxVM, that must be done first before you can convert your LVM VG's to VxVM disk groups. Run vxinstall and answer all the questions, then you will be able to do your vxvmconversion.
