F2 to RA4000 converstion
Hello Group,
I am trying to move disks from an F2 to an RA4000. It would appear that the controller in the RA is smart enought to read the previous array config from the drives (they were on a SA3200 => F2), but it may not know how to tell its controller to preserve the config so I can just pop the drives in and have them work.
I dont have enough tape or other disk storage where I can stash all the data, and just configure a new container, and do a restore from tape.
Can anyone please offer some assistance here?
Thanks,
Todd

Re: F2 to RA4000 converstion
No way
You can only backup data then restore.
The raid config information is not compatible between F2 with RA4000.
