Netserver LH3 bios&raid firmware update disks

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to create bios update and raid firmware update disks, but disk creation don't work.
Example if I download and run lh3bios_us.exe:

1. Program says that I need 1 formatted diskette to continue.
....
Press any key to continue
Diskette Creation disk1
RaWrite 2.0 - Write disk file to raw floppy diskette

Enter target diskette drive: (I give A)
....
Numbers of sectors per track for this disk is 18
Writing image to drive A:. Press ^C to abort.
Attempt to DMA across 64K boundary.

Then window just disappear, without creating disk. I have tryed creation on WXP Pro and W2K workstations. Any ideas how to create disks?

are you sure that the file is not corrupted?
try to download it again.

i just downloaded the file and test it.
the diskette was created succefully.
you are right the dos box disapear when he terminate to create the diskette.
attached the bios update, try it.
try another floppy.

Problem resolved.
I can't create those disks in XP or W2K computers. NT4.0 workstations create disks correctly!

Hi,

Did you use the same diskette on the different workstations?

This file should work without issue on Win2K.

I've got the same problem in my office. It doesn't work on my pc. Same problem on another pc. But on a 3rd pc it always works. I've got no idea what's the problem.

Try a different pc.

Yes I tested that same disk and file in other PC:s. Only NT4.0 workstation worked.
