server mib

hi,
I am using openview toolkits to do some re-development.In order to know the server enviorment,I want to know the server's status information related to its mib.If just as you said ,the MIB in i/o board,how could I get to know?

If you do a simple search on

+mib

and click on "Technical Documents", "Manuals", and "Community Forums", then you will get these results:

Not sure why you started a new thread for the same issue. It was pointed out to me by a colleage that MIB is an object and is most likely not on the servers hardware at all. http://searchsystemsmanagement.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid20_gci214095,00.html

The MMC is what openview and toptools is querying for server status and event logs. The MMC is on the i/o board and power mgmnt board of the LH3000/6000. Have you looked at instant toptools for the LH3000/6000? looking at those apps could help you see how to communicate with the MMC and HEL. http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix70272.html
