N2400 and NAS Data Copy or NSI Double-Take

Does anybody know if I am able to install NSI Double-Take on a TaskSmart N2400? (NSI Double-Take is what HP refers to as "NAS Data Copy" - currently available on their newer NAS units.)

Since your N2400 is already outside its software warranty, you would not be violating your warranty by installing this software. (However, on the flip side, you will be paying for any support calls now.)


The only question is whether the NSI filter drivers will conflict with other filter drivers on your N2400 system (i.e. VR, etc.).


HP has not tested NSI on the N2400. I would not recommend testing this out on a production server, but if you have a test server and environment then I don't see any harm in trying it.
