Lost my lan0 and can't configure it again.
I was increasing my /var filesystem (probably not related) and rebooted. Now I can't connect to the network. The 'ifconfig lan0' command responds with 'no such interface'. In SAM, I can see the card, but the configuration won't take. I've removed the device files and rebuilt them. It added the /dev/lan0 file. But ifconfig still won't find the device.
The lanscan command returns with:
Hardware Station Crd Hdw Net-Interface NM MAC HP-DLPI DLPI
Path Address In# State NamePPA ID Type Support Mjr#
8/16/6 0x0060B0B62634 0 UP lan0 snap0 1 ETHER YES 119
The ioscan command shows:
H/W Path Class Description
==============================
8/16/6 lan Built-in LAN
The link light is on in the back.
I've rebooted to make sure everything is fresh, but still can't make it find the lan card.
Ideas?

Re: Lost my lan0 and can't configure it again.
Found the problem. My .0 subnet was not being allowed. The ndd command fixed it. I'll have to find out how it changed, because it was set to allow it before.
