Advanced Server TCP/IP Port Utilization

How do I determine which TCPIP ports Advanced Server uses ???

Re: Advanced Server TCP/IP Port Utilization

Assuming TCPIP for TCP/IP, you could do
something crude, like stop Advanced Server,
save the output from TCPIP SHOW DEVICE, start
Advanced Server, save the output from TCPIP
SHOW DEVICE, and then compare the two TCPIP
SHOW DEVICE outputs.

There are probably more clever methods, too,
but (to me) this seemed easier than trying to
identify the BG devices owned by Advanced
Server, for example.

Re: Advanced Server TCP/IP Port Utilization

Samba seems to be using 137 and 138 (at
least), which should be a clue.

PORT 139 - Very simplistic way to find out.
Thanks for the feedback. Very much appreciated. Have a great weekend.

Re: Advanced Server TCP/IP Port Utilization

Samba will also use port 445 in addition to 139.
