SYS$TIMEZONE.DAT Recreated On Reboot

I've noticed this file is recreated every time we reboot a node.

Is this normal? Should I simply just put a purge in and forget about it?

Thanks, Rob.

Re: SYS$TIMEZONE.DAT Recreated On Reboot

Rob,

this seems to be 'normal'. The file also gets re-created on each DST change.

The current TDF value is stored in SYS$SYSTEM:SYS$TIMEZONE.DAT and loaded into EXE$GQ_TDF by SYSINIT early during boot.

Volker.
