input shift for X11/Motif

Hello,
I hope I am on the right forum.
I have not written X11/Motif since a long time, and I have to implement the use of shift key to select multiple lines within a List Widget (Motif 1.2). I remember that press the shift key is not understood as the other input.
Do you think that it is possible to do that ?
Thank you

Hi,

Welcome to the OpenVMS forum.

If I recall correctly, you have to create your ListWidget with the XmEXTENDED_SELECT specified as the selection policy (XmNselectionPolicy).
Note that you also have to write a "XmNextendedSelectionCallback" function that handles the user's selection.

Hope this helps,
Kris (aka Qkcl)
