How to change the keyboard layout?

Hi,

I've just finished setting up my trusty old PWS500au with Tru64 5.1B.

So far, everything is working out great.

One minor annoyance remains, though: How can I change the default english keyboard layout?
I'd like to use a german keyboard layout on this machine, both in X and on console level.

Thanks in advance,

Dominik

Re: How to change the keyboard layout?

Hi Dominik,

At the SRM prompt (>>>) try using "set lang xx" where xx is the numeric code for the country you want. If you use "set lang ?" it should give you the list of options you can use.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rob

Entering
