Parasite traffic during vrestore
I've got ES40 4x666MHz, 16 GB, v.5.1A SP3
Disk array RA7000 - HSZ70, SDLT tape.
First ~10 minites of vrestore going OK - 8MB/s traffic at taget disk (raid from RA7000).
After ~10 minites I see:
- approx. 4 MB/s traffic at taget disk
- approx. 4 MB/s traffic at system disk dsk0 (internal - not RA7000, containes /, /usr, /var, swap, nothing else)
- system responce to keyboard is SLOW.
- >10 GB free memory
- No swap usage (1 page used)
- df shows free space in /, /usr, /var is constant.
- no other activity&users on the system
The effect is stable and reproducible.
I believe SDLT tape is faster than RA7000 disks.
If any ideas how to remove traffic on dsk0?
