Remove a file

Hi admins,

I would like to delete a file that I uploaded to my server using ftp.

# pwd
# ls
# rm
318433 ( <--pop out automatically)
# rm: No such file or directory

I wonder why the system recognize only but not the whole thing.

Please help!
